You Scream, I Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!

I hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day weekend! MDW feels like the unofficial start to summer and the weather seems to be playing along with some really hot days already in areas that experience more seasonal weather.

And you know what goes great with warm weather? Ice cream. Real, deal ice cream. You have full permission to buy (and enjoy) full-fat ice cream from an ice cream shop or the grocery store. If you saw this recent Instagram post, we touched on how fat equals flavor, flavor equals satisfaction. Buying low fat or nonfat items such as ice cream basically just translates to reduced energy, flavor, and satisfaction.

You also have full permission to stop spending money on cacao nibs, organic bananas, and milk alternatives to make a “nice cream”. Because you know what, being nice to yourself about ice cream > “nice cream”.

Additionally, you can decide to have ice cream at any time of day and your body will know what to do with it! Your body isn’t only able to digest sweets as a dessert after dinner! Your body doesn’t work on a time clock. If you want to have a popsicle midday by the pool, your body will know what to do with that. Meeting a friend for ice cream before dinner? Sure, your body will be okay with that too!
