Mental Health Parity Law

We all know the importance of insurance coverage for patients trying to access treatment for eating disorders. We wanted to let you know that it's now the law for private insurance plans to provide equal coverage for mental and physical health services through The Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act!

For those suffering from a mental health disorder, such as an eating disorder, this means you must be given the same treatment coverage as those suffering from medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and/or cancer.
