Recipe: Classic Pesto
Pesto is one condiment that I truly think can transform "blah" to 5 star, drool worthy in minutes.
The flavor. I mean come on...it speaks for itself.
Want a big life hack? Keep this in your freezer and on nights you don't know what to feed your hungry family, have pasta + pesto.
4 cups fresh basil
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp pine nuts
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
2 garlic cloves
2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
salt & pepper to taste
1.) Place ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth consistency
2.) Pour in air tight container and enjoy!
*Good for about 6-7 days in fridge, but go ahead and freeze some too!
