Recipe: Peach Dessert

If you’re obsessed with peaches this time of year, you have to try this relatively easy peach dessert. All together it’s sweet, warm, cold, crunchy, and creamy… so satisfying!

Yields 2 (if you want to bake for one, cut it in half)

  • 2 ripe peaches (sliced and halved; no need to peel unless you prefer it. When they’re baked the skin also comes off pretty easily, so you can remove it while eating it too)

  • 1.5 tbsp butter

  • 1.5 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup quick oats

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • A pinch of nutmeg and cloves (you can also use a mix such as pumpkin pie spice or apple pie spice for a similar flavor profile, omit the above cinnamon if doing so unless you like it strong on cinnamon)

  • A pinch of salt

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

  • Slice peaches in half and remove pits

  • Place on a baking sheet or pan

  • Place an equal piece of butter in each half

  • Combine spices and oats in a bowl, sprinkle over peach halves

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes

  • Serve with ice cream (any type of cinnamon or vanilla ice cream will do the trick!)

  • Enjoy this just peachy treat!
